Must not have made myself clear. Those parts have been removed and are no longer on the tractor. The only parts that remain are the two parts that are inside the pedestal and remain unseen. The worm gear is gone. Tie rods removed from pedestal. Nothing remains or is attached to the above mentioned parts inside the pedestal. There is now no worm gear, so nothing for studs to come in contact with. What is left should rotate easily because nothing is attached to it.But it does not. Just wanted to make it clear I have done more then simply throw a pipe wrench on it to force it to move. The question is how do I get the two remaining steering parts out of the pedestal. One or both are either damaged or rusted in place.
