I was on 2208 a county road between Longveiw and Jefferson Texas. Back road through some very thick woods. About 2 AM I stopped to take a break. I had the feeling something was watching me. Blew it off as just being tired. Then I could hear something moving on the ground. What ever it was was snapping branches. Got the feeling it didn't want me there. No loud screams or odd smells. But I was not wanted there. Heard noise coming from both sides of the road. Knew I was between some thing that wanted me gone. So I left.
Stopped on the same spot the next day. Found the ground torn up and tree branches broken. I never saw anything but I am convinced something was there. Of course the ones I told called me nuts.So I stopped talking about it. All I can say is don't dismiss it until you go through it.
