Guys I think i will need the computer wizzes for this one ? My 2008 Gran Marquis started then quit when i set it in gear today . now ,all it will do is crank and crank. So .i pushed the inertia button in the trunk ? cycled key on and off i could here the fuel pump cycle on /off . NO GO.popped the breather gave it a dose of ethter..wiped the keys and the fob .. tried other set of keys, crank but NO Go. wiped them down, no go, CCOULD this be related?... .yesterday a odd thing happened in the parade at Laconia Days to this otherwise VERY DEPENDABLE car. the temp guage went up while idling thru the parade route,then steam came out under hood, SHUT DOWN .came back 2 hours later , added 1 and half gallon water. no leaks ,good belt tension . made 3 errand trips after that including creek crossing for electric fence repair(prompting inertia button suspician ) , went to church , over hundred miles total. temp guage fine , everything ran normal
