I have experienced proportioning valve failures after losing a rusted brake line. Mostly on GM's. Have tried to bleed there but was easier to replace the valve then rebleed the system. Also learned to wait some time after filling so gravity could fill the lines.
I have also found some GM's need to have a scanner tool to completely bleed. I don't know if yours is new enough for that.
