New Holland would be in modern tractors, or in with Ford. That symptom can be a sign of a worn hydraulic pump so don't get your hopes up too high. If you don't know when the fluid was changed last, change it as well.Use a high grade Hydraulic transmission fluid. A lot of the Cheapie Charlie fluids are not viscosity stable when they heat up. MY recommendation is to use New Holland fluid, oil is way cheaper than hard parts and a tractor split for internal failures. The hydraulic pump itself is external. If the backhoe does not have a sub frame that goes up under pretty much the whole tractor be prepared to brake hitch parts, and maybe the transmission housing or torque tube.
