Yeah, makes sense, your inventory of fuses must have gotten low I guess. My wife always kids me when I salvage something and keep it instead of throwing it out. For example, I have several lamp-type cords with the factory male plug on the end that I cut off dead radios, lamps, etc. over the years. Just this morning a friend emailed me, his lamp cord and plug shorted out and he wondered if I had one he could use. I told him no, I don't have one but I have a half dozen that he can pick from (including three different colors). Good timing with your post and his email.
