I live in an area that is fairly affluent, not necessarily middle america. However, I wish I could post a picture of the grocery store's dairy case. Soy milk, almond milk, cashew milk, organic milk, more I cant think of. MAny health 'experts" are advocating minimal dairy intake. Per capita milk consumption has been dropping for many years. Many dairies in my particular area have gone away in the last 20 years or so, but oddly enough, not many in this recent bloodletting. Maybe it will happen next year. I hate to see it going on, I really do.
