I store my feed in 55 gallon plastic drums with screw off lids. put a little kitty litter in the bottom to absorb any moisture. To keep it bug free, get some dry ice and put in but don't tighten the lid. When the ice melts, the CO2 will displace the oxygen in the barrel. Then the lid can be tightened.
