Got up at five, drank coffee, and did some paperwork. Checked YT and a few other boards. Then I went over to my shop, cranked up my old Dodge army truck and winged back the snow banks on about half of my plow route. This last snow was so wet and heavy that it just kind of oozed of the end of the plow and sat there. I needed to get most of it over the edge and across the ditch as far as possible, to make room for the next snow.
This afternoon we will take the Massey 175 with front end loader and tire chains, my plow truck and a chainsaw, and hack and slash our way into a half mile of driveway. Fortunately, the owner is in some warm sunny place for the winter, so there is no rush, but I want it open before the next snow.
