I keep a one gallon can (oil only) handy. I fill the one gallon can from the five gallon can (using funnel), and that makes it easier to handle and easier to measure also. Two cinder blocks keep the one gallon can from tipping when pouring into it. I do this for engine oil and for 80-90 wt. oil, keeping separate one gallon can for each. Kinda basic; works for me.
