Here's a hint when you order that new truck. Make sure it comes with an open differential, not any kind of posi. The reason is that the Detroit Locker cannot be installed in a posi carrier which means you get to buy a new carrier in addition to the DL. Some axles require a new carrier anyway but you can check with http://www.ring-pinion.com/ to find out the scoop for the truck you are ordering.
