I've seen an Allis B with an air cooled Wisconsin V-4, a Ford (9N?) with an industrial flathead V8, and quite a few Massey Harris tractors with anything from 283 Chevs to Mopar 392 hemis (whale motor) to Perkins diesels. I've also heard rumors of an unstyled Allis WC running around sporting a Kieth Black 500cu in Hemi, but haven't seen it. Most of these conversions were done by tractor pullers, but there was a Massey Harris (44?) with an industrial 318 that the guy claimed to plow and mow with. Is it worth it? Not to me, but hey, its your tractor.
