My best bet is on the serial number look right on the cast housing that the lower pin for the boom swivel goes thru. Most of them there is a ground flat place and the number is stamped there. At least look all around the base of the boom. Dates of production on that grey market stuff is hard but the KH series was replaced by the KX somewhere around 1965 or so. Look on the valve cover of the engine and get me a model number and I can tell you what US model is close to it. E mail is open.
