Like so many other holidays, Christmas is not much more than another "Hallmark holiday." An excuse to get people to spend money that many do not have to spend, and the entire religious meaning has gone out of it. And, if the truth be known, Christmas is NOT the birthday of Jesus. Astronomers and scientists have proven that using the information and references given in the Bible, Jesus was born sometime in late September or early October. Several faiths now recognize this. But, we still continue to celebrate December 25th as it has been for many years in the past.
To all, I wish a Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah or whatever your particular fait celebrates at this time of the year. Best wishes to all.
