I did an elderly ladies driveway for years at no charge, she was well into her 90s and still living on the old farmstead all alone. She made me baked goods and gave me lots of little things over the years, also garden produce in summer. I always thought it was the right thing to do, and I would want someone to do the same for my own Mother if the situation was the same. Her appreciation was my pay and well worth it ! Sadly she passed about 4 years ago now, house and most of the buildings have been knocked down already. Her name was Matilda but everyone called her Tilly.
