I don't know a thing about case balers. I'm use to New Hollands, but if it is making what we call a "banana bale," the problem is how the straw/hay is being feed into your baler. Take a look at what moves the straw from the pick-up into the bale chamber. Are they forks or is it an auger? If they are forks, chances are you can adjust them to feed the straw/hay in deferent so that it puts more matter on the short side of your bail. Good luck.
