Stan: Good point about leaving switch off for first couple pulls to prime engine. Some big old piston aircraft engine start-ups state waiting for "X" number of rotations(after fuel on) befor one "Hot" mag is switched on. That mag will have the most retarded timing for less kickback effect. Boy do I like hearing those old 9 and 18 cylinder radials start. Music to the ear. The biggest radial is about 3500 cu inches. One museum I wrote to went out and recorded several types of radial engines startup to have in a playback booth in stereo with video. Won't be too long before they aren't run anymore. ralph
