This is one subject I will disagree with old on. I have rarely been able in my life time to get a truly stuck motor running well by just soaking it with some type of lubricant.
Also on the type of tractors the average YTers is working on you can have the cylinder head off in less than an hour with regular hand tools.
Now on this particular tractor. I just looked it up. A head gasket and valve cover gasket cost just over $30. So just pull the head and see what you really have. 90% of the time this is what you will be doing in days/or weeks messing with it anyway.
