This year the elevator filled up quick so I got out the straight trucks after the semis were full. The 74 Ford F600 is first - 21k miles and second owner, then the 54 Chevy 6400 my uncle farmed with, then the 58 GMC 370 I have had for years. My 35 Chevy 1 1/2 ton grain truck and the 56 Chevy 4400 grain truck are missing from the lineup - the 56 is a flatbed and the 35 has no hoist. Too bad they dont run slings anymore at the elevator cause she will hold a whopping 110 bushel!
I love having these old straight trucks around - they are bulletproof and will always fire up.
