The 4320 had a rear end problem if it was turned up to 180 hp. Something comes loose in a planetary, catches in the bull gear and goes out the bottom of the axle housing. I was driving a 4320 for a farmer when that happened. Heard a crunch, stopped got out and saw oil draining out and running down the corn rows. A neighbor had the same thing happen with his turned way up 4320. That is what I would consider extreme abuse though. Good testament to that little ol 404 though. It keeps on running when turned way up past factory HP.
