I personally know of anyone that has had an issue with the differentials in any of those models. But as far as the 4430's go, the factory must have felt they were a weakness and it think s/n 38000 was the break for the updated differential. I would think if it's lasted this long it must be OK unless you are building a pulling tractor and that is a whole different story.
