If he is as close to Pittsburgh as he has indicated then I doubt the prices are out of line to the tune of 300-400 dollars per tractor. Probably 150-200 dollars and that is going by my location and not scouting endlessly down by Pittsburgh. All that aside if you are confident in evaluating a tractor on the spot then the auction will have a better price than the jockey typically. All kinds of mediocre but running H's for 800 dollars around here at the auction. 700 dollars for running but looks like it got towed out of the hedgerow.
