I wouldn't think the dirt would hurt them nearly as much as the sun. We have a 48 Farmall C with very old tires, possibly originals. I made a screw jack out of pipe and all thread to support most of the weight over winter, it sits in a shed from Oct-May. I worry about one going flat and cracking. I jack it up with a hydraulic under the drawbar and then adjust the screw jack to hold it.
