I had a 1010 John Deere and used a 5 foot medium duty brush hog on it - probably weighed in the 500-600 lb. range and it handled it real well. I also had a hay fork on the 3ph and handled some real heavy large bales but I don't know how much they weighed. I suspect they were in the 1000 lb. range. The hay bales however were compact and kept the center of gravity forward more than a rotary cutter will. This tractor has very good hydraulics and is fairly heavy on the front end even without weights but I suspect that 1100-1200 lbs. would be a little much on something as long as a rotary cutter. You could try one before you bought it. Have a pretty big fellow stand on the back when you pick it up. If it doesn't raise the front end it will probably be ok. Mine was a mighty good tractor - I got rid of it mostly because it didn't have power steering. GOOD LUCK WITH IT!
