Starting HS maybe I set my sights too low. I can recall thinking I'd be lucky if I had a mobile home, a little land, and a girl that would be honest and faithful. I've far exceeded my early sights(not really dreams) in both finance, and the girl. I could retire today, but my dream job that I do once in a while is too good to leave.
All I can say to anyone young reading this is do NOT rely on anyone else for your satisfaction or success. The only that can deliver success for you is you. Also, don't blame others for your own failure. Sure, nothing is entirely in your power, but most of it is, so get going, and make your own destiny.
