Well, it runs! It had sat inside for at least 10 years last ran about 6 years ago. Engine was loose, but had no spark. The coil was leaking oil so it was replaced along with the distributor cap and rotor which looked questionable. Then it would spark intermittently and kick back on the starter. I soaked the distributor flange with we 40 and it did loosen up enough to retard the timing. Still would only fire occasionally so I filed the points a bit....thanks, old....and away it went. A test drive showed no leaks and everything operates as it should except for the generator...that may be replaced with a Delco alternator if it had issues. Ready for the paint shop next!
