Some of you might remember I talked about buying a Farmall H a couple weeks ago. Well, I put half the money down, contingent on the tractor’s gear shift being fixed. I called this Monday and the hear shift is fixed, so pending my testing of the tractor, I should be good to go.
Since I’m 18 years old and don’t own a truck, I had a hard time finding someone to haul it. Thankfully, I found a couple people. Someone from Yesterday’s Tractors was kind enough to reach out and offer to help, but I actually had just heard from a mechanic I know that he has someone who will haul it. So now, my mechanic told me that the guy he knows can haul it home Presidents Day weekend.
I will keep you updated how it goes, but I am really looking forward to getting my tractor.
