What year was that block used ? I ordered a new pickup in 1997 when it came they sent me home with it on a Friday I drove it 230 miles and the radio and the wipers quit. I called them on Monday morning and they told me The engine had a Cummins Recall and They replaced the engine . I would bet you anything they knew it when they sent it home with me. There excuse was that the camshaft bore was .003 to close to the crank and the had been breaking camshafts.
