Not sure what happened to my laptop that uses win 7. It refused to log into WiFi. SIL thought I had a bad hard drive. Thought I should junk it. As a last ditch effort I had him wipe the hard drive, which only had a few pics. No big loss there. He reinstalled hard drive and all is well.
Computer crashed as I was on ebay trying to pay. I think problem may have been pop up related. Not sure. All is well now. Don't have the pop up that I constantly had. I even got another old laptop as a backup. It may have win 10. Win 10 runs about the speed of dial up compared to the old win 7.
My son is head of IT security for a large company that has about 1700 agents, all computers state wide are networked. He has a dozen people on his team.
