A few years ago my tractor dealer voluntered to help cut a steep slope on a trail cut. I thought he would use the LCG ( low center of gravity ) Ford 2100 he had on the used lot, but instead he used a Ford 3000 that he put dual rear wheels on using a 6' brush hog. He said with the tires air filled and the dual wheels it might slide but wouldn't tip. He did the whole job with no problems. Then to prove his point he drove the up hill side over a 10 - 12" log with no problem. I was convinced.
