IF ANYBODY TELLS YOU NOIT TO PRIME IT'S EITHER THERE FULL OF $hit OR they are planning to purchase a poorly painted tractor for a small price. The only thing that should not be primed in my book is the exhaust manifold. It gets real hot and the primer/paint will simply melt off anyway. I used "High temperature Grill paint" on my manifold off from the TO-30 I'm working on---Stupid me--- I didn't read the directions first, they say not to prime first as the primer will "melt/blister off"
