I have read Jim, Ron, Tom etc. They seem to have had better luck than I have. I bought a 4' Finishing KK last year. I have not been able to get the blades off to sharpen them. I think they glued them on. I had a zert (alinmite) fitting that fell out the second time of use. Had to replace two of them. Couldn't get one spindle to take any grease. It went out yesterday and I can't repair it because I can't get the blade off.
Just haven't had good luck with this $900 purchase. Tried to contact KK on web, but page won't come up. This small mower is to complicated and requires tremendous PM to keep it running. It is for sale cheap. I mow about 4 acres ever two weeks with it. I used it one time last year and only 4 times this year. Had a flat tire when I got it, the tube was oversized and wrnkled, but was repairable. The shroud covernig the belts is useless. Grass is bad to build up around the belts requiring excessive cleaning. I have not been satisfied as you can tell.

Last niht I dreamed about the day that I plowed the field of about 10 acres over on what Jimmy and Dandy called the Ledbetter field. I was driving the 1948 8N Ford tractor that Jimmy bought in 48 new This was prebably in about 1951 and maybe even befor the house was built. This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit ... [Read Article]
