In our area there had been no Porsches when I was a kid, Farmers around her got Deutz, Fendt, MF (35, 65), maybe a Ford, Lanz and Hanomag, IHC sometimes an Eicher or a MAN, that was it. I heard from Porsche as a kid only like a Die Cast model built by Siku,(Got one in my tractor model collection) but a friend of mine is a Porsche Specialist, his father got a Master, but this was years ago, and they live near the border to the netherlands, as a kid I never reached there, cause my parents had no car, and my uncle(he traded with Live-Stock) sets his business in the Aachen area and in the Eifel.
I got brochures from the Steyr 90 series also from the newer ones.
Fendt is no more Fendt, since they belong to AGCO. In our Village they ran a lot of them. I liked most a Favorit 610 built in 1975, strong machine, the first 100 HP tractor here. In the neighbourvillage they ran two Deutz 10006 4wd, I was very impressed when I saw them.
