Red yes most of the time the base sand held off the color of the cement and things ended up looking kind or reddish brown. The jobs I was around the truck drivers were experts and could run out a load of the soil cement in about 300 yards on the go. The tractors were awful loud as they were run wide open and very slow to stir that stuff in.
