They are newsgroups. Depending on your browser, you can type news:alt.autos.4x4.chevy-trucks in your location bar or enter alt.autos.4x4.chevy-trucks into your newsgroup reader which is part of your email client (subscribe function). Not all ISPs support newsgroups; if in doubt ask them.
