I didn't see any info on propane and diesels.Irun an 8.8 gallon frame mount tank for my Powerstroke.I have it set for 2 stages.The first comes on at 5 pounds of boost and the second at 15.The low stage is set for 20HP and the second about 80-100HP.I drive easy on the 20 for a 2 or 3 m.p.g. gain and the second moves you up hills without slowing or real good for extra passing power.Normally turbocharged diesels burn 80% of the fuel,the propane is like an oxidizer increasing total oxygen to get a 90-something % burn.For the cost you gain nothing but up to 120-175 HP,cleaner burning engine,and longer oil changes.My 8.8 gallon tank last 900-1000 miles if I don't hotrod it.Since it isn't the primary fuel no tax problems either.
