I think every manufacturer has had it's lemons and if they survived those would up with some pretty good stuff. IMO the 806 along with the JD 4020 were to of the best built tractors of it's day. I know some farmers who 12,000 or more trouble free hours on those 2 models. That isn't saying there were not other competing tractors that were not good tractors. IMO those 2 were as good as it got. Lot of em still around today.
That last sentence is the one you need to pay attention to. If they had a block cracking problem they would have little to no value and few would still be out there.
