Ive got a 92 Dakota with a 3.9 liter ,5 speed ,with over 185,000 miles on it , doesn't use oil , no smoke , been an excellent truck , but I didn't buy it to work , bought it to drive to work , 75 miles round trip , the most I've pulled with it is a 14 foot cattle trailer with about 2500-3000 lb. of calves or a 16 foot trailer with a Ford 2000 on it , it pulled it but never got in 5th gear , pretty much of a strain on it , I usually use my 1500 Dodge with a 360 to do the real work .
