As far as I know a "rick" is a type of storage system and not a unit of measure ( a cord being 128 cubic feet) The cord (or portion of) BTW is the only legal way to sell firewood in a lot of states and in most the air space between pieces is even regulated, so if your buying try to convert by tape measure the rick to cord and then compare the average price before you buy. Some of these firewood guys can be pretty cagey and others are outright thieves Good Luck
