Used a rather powerful powerwasher on a '49 JD B recently, and it took amlost everything off that I could get a straight shot at. You may have to do the job more than once, as you'll find places you missed after the fog settles, and things dry off! Unfortunately my washer won't inject detergent in the high pressure mode. Many detergents will cut grease to some extent. You even use hand dish washing detergent with some good results, and your tractor will never have smelled better! Make up a solution of powdered dish-washer detergent - that stuff is pretty agressive too. If you can put warm or hot water thru your power washer, that will help too. Go awfully easy on radiators, especially automotive ones, the pressure washer can destroy the fine metal fins, and even rip up the tubes out.
