Lately when I wire wheel any big projects that are not sandblasted to be prep for paint. I wear safety glasses, ear protection, good dust masks and a hat. I also found a old apron that was my grandfather's works well to protect from the wire coming out of the wheel. Also a heavy long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
Also two grinders with different style wheels, a few different wheels for 90deg air grinders and drill motors.
We are using Dupont Enron industrial enamel for top coat and DuPont etching primer. It has worked well so far and is very durable. I didn't have any pics of wheels, the picture is of a grill but same products used.
