Ted, DUMMY! I thought I was the only one that did that, there you go, trying to out do me, HA! ok the welding trick works but sometimes I weld a flatwasher on first (it's easier for me)than weld the nut to it then after its cooled a bit I heat it with a cuttin' torch and grip it with vise grips and work it ever so easily back and forth trying not to break it off again. Also if it's on an exhaust manifold stud that is been heated and cooled thousands of times I use a little"BEESWAX" as a lubricant. If all else fails you can get solid carbuloy drill bits at an industrial supply that will drill anything short of carbuloy BUT they are BRITTLE & EXPENSIVE lots of luck and LOL you aren't the " FIRST"
