I found the copy I read at the library. It was in the business section. By accident I had heard about it. Maybe Alibris or whatever they call themselves could find you a copy. It's a shame that it went out of print. For a business book it's pretty interesting. It tells how IHC took some wrong turns, mainly by building too many models of everything and skipping over their product development cycles. Anybody remember the Farmall 400 or the TD 30 dozer? Meanwhile, Deere took a more methodical approach in the 50's and early 60's and got ahead of them, after about 100 years of being #2. IH really did try to make it back in the 80's and it's good that they avoided complete bankruptcy at the time, even though they wound up selling off everything but the trucks and calling themselves Navistar.
