Walking boot to isolate it, had to wear one this winter, 2 weeks to calm down a bone spur in the ankle. They do hurt something awful. The boot worked instantly and although I know the spur is there, visited with the doctor about options, seems to be holding it's own.
Obviously your doctor knows best, but there is a leveler for the shoe on the opposite leg, that was the only hitch, needed to level up the other side. Will definitely get that if wearing it again. It sure did work well though, no pain at all.
