Well i had a 88 Ford 350 4x4 460 5 speed 4.10 gears and it would pull my 28 ft. goose neck just as fast as you wanted to go but 8.5 mpg loaded got a littel hard on the bottom line. Now i have a 3500 4x4 with a cummins and it also has 4.10 gear and 5 speed , it would be alot better with a 3.54 gear and it does around 13,5 mpg. It does not have the top speed as the ford did but it does not have the high rpm's , it does a good job from 1450 thur 2850 with governer run out at 3000 i did tweek it just a littel from 175 hp to 245 hp . My buddy has a 2001 3500 dodge 4x4 with the 6speed and 3.54 gear and we used it to haul grain with his grain trailer we hauled 25 loads with a gross weight of around 32500 t0 34500 every trip and i was impressed at the way it ran it's time to sell my 95 and get a 24 valve cummins with a 6 speed and 3.54 gear.

Nevertheless, the heat didn't keep vendors and visitors alike from enjoying the third annual Country Day's Event. Jane Elliott said the event was originally a one man show. "Barry Seiler, owner of Country Town Farm Supply store used to invite people up to the Johne Deere store. He would give hats and a free meal for everyone that brings a tractor." Elliott said while this ... [Read Article]
