The operator is having trouble steering it these days :) The jubilee used to have a loader on it before I bought it, which wound up taking out the front wishbone bearing (that's what I call it anyways). So just the tractor with a bush hog right now, no loader, could probably rig auxiliary hydraulics if I wanted to run a pump conversion on it. It's just old habits I suppose how I mow with it, gotten used to operating it a certain way.
The 871 has a 503 loader with wheel weights and sits closer to 5,000 pounds right now. All my fields are soft and I would drop the tractor in instantly except maybe in a dry august. It's also too much power for me in the fields since it's a 50hp and the selecto speed isnt happy with itself anymore. The gear that runs the 3pth also is broke off inside the engine, so if I were to do a 5 speed swap id do that replacement at the same time. I just use it in a few speeds to move equipment off from trailers and stuff. It's more of a bumble along tractor as someone put it.
Have to look more into a cheaper kit and see how it's powered. Also wondering about an electronic assist instead?
