Normally finish small grains (and hay seeding) by the end of April or first week of May, then get the corn in asap. Usually in good shape as long as everything is planted by the end of May. I haven't opened a single bag of seed yet. Tried the disk-chisel one day, but it was too wet, so I quit, and its been even wetter ever since. Haying normally starts on the last few days of May or first few of June. Even if I wasn't concerned with rutting up the hay fields, the hay isn't tall enough to mow yet.
