I am with you guys, I think most presidents have to deal with what they recieved from their predecessor. Some help, some hurt, and some just rode along. As far as the Implement companies that were mentioned, bad luck, bad planning, and bad management, may have hurt. All of those companies made fine machinery, but may have neglected to improve their lines in time, or failed to see the changes coming in agriculture. I have been involved in ag for 41 years, and it has been amazing the changes, especially in the last 20 years. But sometimes I am not sure that they have all been for the better.
