Ron, I've swapped out a number of those with MS carbs on small Farmalls from A, B, or the combine/swather engine which is either a 153 or 152. My standard was that shaft's turned the right direction and the Ventura was close in size. Why? I always liked the availability and simplicity of the Marvel to work on vs. Zenith. The gasket is easier to make and they just boil out better for me. The pot metal Carter was junk. I imagine someone will be able to give you a better, more specific answer. gm
