I drive in a metropolitan area every day and LIVE with the Jakes on. If theres a sudden slowdown the Jakes are on the instant my foot leaves the throttle long before I can reach the brakes. Your Jakes on all cylinders are worth about 60% of your engines rated HP. That makes 260 HP of braking power already working while I'm stabbin' for the pedal. I don't run straights but they do make some noice, but I don't care, if it comes down to trying to keep my 84,000 pound truck off someones car in front of me, I'll use all I got.
